Dazu is a homegrown fashion brand from Uttarakhand, founded in 2023. Its name comes from the Kumaoni
word “दाज्यू,” meaning elder brother — a symbol of warmth, guidance, and community.
Rooted in Himalayan art, folklore, and tribal heritage, the brand reimagines mountain identity through
modern streetwear. The design language blends local craft with contemporary graphics, carrying forward
cultural stories with a fresh, expressive voice.
It represents a collective mountain spirit that goes beyond geography, connecting anyone who feels the
